Finding missing parts of number bonds to 10 and 20. Suggested ages 5–9. Readiness matters more than age.
Choose target 10 or 20. A ten-frame or double ten-frame shows known stones and visible gaps. Select the missing part from three plausible choices. Eight correctly completed bridges form a finite trail. Wrong choices explain the missing quantity without deductions. Show me presents the same bond as a proportionate whole/part bar, with the known and missing parts labelled. Correct answers retain the finished bridge until Next; finish and replay preserve target.
Use labelled buttons with touch, Tab and Enter. Replay Show me whenever useful. A grown-up may need to read the first instruction. There is no speech or required sound. Number models have text descriptions; manual screen-reader and child testing are pending.
